Cyberpunk 2077: All Joker Locations in Secret Balatro Quest

Looking for all Joker locations in Cyberpunk 2077? With Patch 2.2 (released on the 10th December 2024), a new, secret quest was added to the game, which tasks V with tracking down ten 'Jokers' throughout Night City.

In this Cyberpunk 2077 guide, we're going to list all of the Jokers and where to find them, complete with screenshots.

How Do You Start the Balatro Joker Quest in Cyberpunk 2077?

In order to start the Balatro Joker quest in Cyberpunk 2077, you simply need to wait until V receives a message from someone called Jim B.

There's no real way to tell when this message will arrive; you just need to keep playing until it does. You can try sleeping, waiting, and completing gigs until it appears. It'll happen eventually!

It should be noted that this quest — or gig — is not recorded in your journal. It's only tracked through the messages that you get from Jim B.

When you do get Jim B's message, it's time for a treasure hunt. V's mysterious new friend will send you clues on where to find Joker graffiti, scattered all across Night City.

These locations are not marked on your map — you need to use Jim B's photographs to try and work out where they are.

All Joker Locations in Cyberpunk 2077

Below is a list of all ten Joker locations in Cyberpunk 2077. You need to find them in order for the quest to progress.

Joker #1: Ride the Bus

Location: North Oak, Westbrook

• The first Joker is found on the bus stop outside of the Columbarium — Night City's futuristic graveyard

Joker #2: Golden Joker

Location: North Oak, Westbrook

• The second Joker is found just up the road from the first
• Head north to the roundabout in North Oak — the one with the big bird statue in the middle of it
• Check the back of the statue's platform for the Joker

Joker #3: Lucky Cat

Location: Misty's Esoterica, Little China, Watson

• The third Joker is found inside of Misty's Esoterica
• Check the stand with all of the lucky cat figures
• You'll find the datapad on the floor of the shop, to the left of the lucky cats

Joker #4: Driver's License

Location: Delamain HQ, Vista Del Ray, Heywood

• The fourth Joker is found outside of Delamain HQ, on the roof
• You can climb the building from the back
• The Joker is right above the Delamain logo on the front of the building

Joker #5: Splash

Location: Wellsprings, Heywood

• The fifth Joker is found in a very non-specific location in Wellsprings
• It's a difficult place to describe — it's found next to one of the water access ladders that looks out onto the ocean (be sure to use the screenshots above)
• Once you've found the right ladder, jump into the water below and you'll find the datapad on the ocean floor, not far from the ladder

Joker #6: Spare Trousers

Location: Jinguji Clothes Store, Downtown, City Center

• The sixth Joker is found inside of Night City's only Jinguji store
• Check behind the main Jinguji sign near the back of the shop
• The Joker's on the wall behind the sign, along with the datapad on the floor

Joker #7: Hologram

Location: Corpo Plaza, City Center

• The seventh Joker is fairly easy to find — it's sitting on top of the giant glass ceiling right in the middle of Corpo Plaza
• You just need to head up there and run over the glass
• The Joker and datapad are surrounded by casino chip holograms

Joker #8: Sixth Sense

Location: Japantown, Westbrook

• The eighth Joker is found on the right foot of the giant neo-religion statue in Japantown
• The statue is found above the Cherry Blossom Market — and it's hard to miss once you're up on street level
• Climb up to the statue's platform and check the inside of the right foot to find the Joker and datapad

Joker #9: Lusty Joker

Location: Jig-Jig Street, Japantown, Westbrook

• The ninth Joker is found inside of a store on Jig-Jig Street
• The store's near the front entrance of the street, to the left
• The store's got a pole dancer
• Go inside and find the Joker on the back wall
• Turn around and you'll find the datapad under the counter

Joker #10: Ramen

Location: Ramen Restaurant, Cherry Blossom Market, Japantown, Westbrook

• The tenth and final Joker is found inside the ramen restaurant in the Cherry Blossom Market
• It's the only store in the area that you can actually enter, down some stairs
• Go to the right of the counter and you'll spot the Joker next to a door
• Open the door and you'll find the final datapad on a shelf, and a reward for finding all the Jokers on the floor

What Do You Get for Finding All the Jokers in Cyberpunk 2077?

You get a couple of rewards for finding all ten of the Jokers in Cyberpunk 2077.

First off, you'll find a unique Joker t-shirt at the location of the final Joker and datapad. Be sure to pick it up!

On top of your lovely new t-shirt, a trophy will appear in V's Megabuilding apartment. It's on the shelf behind the sofa, and features three cards: a Jack (Jackie), a Queen (Rogue), and a King (Johnny).
