Dead Rising 1: All Survivors Locations Guide

What are all Survivors locations in Dead Rising 1? As well as progressing the main story via the Cases in the game, you can spend your free time rescuing Survivors throughout the shopping mall. In this Dead Rising 1 guide, we are going to reveal all Survivors locations. If, by the end of the game, you get 10 Survivors out of the mall, you will earn the Humanist Trophy. Get 50 Survivors out to earn the Saint Trophy. This guide covers both the original game and the new Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster.

What Are All Survivors Locations in Dead Rising 1?

There are 48 Survivors to save and rescue throughout the entire mall. You'll be alerted to the vast majority of them via Scoops (side quests), with Otis calling you on the radio to tell you about them. Once he has, you'll have a limited amount of time to get to their location and bring them back to the Security Room. Once you do that, the Survivor is considered rescued. Due to the time mechanic the game uses, it's very hard to complete all the main Cases and rescue every single Survivor during a single playthrough. You'd need to manage your time incredibly well to achieve such a feat.

The Survivors you encounter at the start of the game — before the zombies break into the mall — do not count towards this guide or any associated Trophies. It is part of the main story that they die; there's no way to rescue them. If you are wondering Is It Possible to Save Everyone in the game, click the link.

Below you'll find all Survivors locations. We have displayed them in the same order Otis calls you to begin the Scoop associated with that Survivor, so check your watch in-game and match up the time with when each Survivor becomes available. While rescuing them — or just after the fact — remember to take a picture of every Survivor to work towards other Trophies.
