Death Stranding consists of 14 main story chapters and a prologue that comes before all of them. After beating the game, you will enter a 15th chapter, however, it is impossible to complete it. This 15th chapter is your opportunity to complete any outstanding side content you skipped on while beating the title, as well as your chance to explore the world further.

Can You Keep Playing After Beating Death Stranding?

After completing Death Stranding, yes you can indeed keep on playing the game with your current save file. Following the credits, you'll be put back out in the open world where you can finish up any side orders you didn't complete and roam across the world of America.
