Jagged Peak Drake: Boss Fight Strategy
Having reached the Foot of the Jagged Peak, you'll spot the Jagged Peak Drake snoozing away in the valley below you. Approach it to begin the encounter, with its attacks limited to standard Fire breaths and swipes with its wings. It can also call down orange Lightning attacks from the sky, though where they'll strike is telegraphed on the ground. There's nothing special about this fight when compared to other dragons in the game, and so the strategy remains the same.
While riding Torrent, target its two legs by sprinting by either side of it and then getting underneath the body. If you deal enough damage, you'll stagger the dragon and leave it open to a heavy blow to the face. If you've taken down other dragons and are correctly levelled, this encounter shouldn't present many problems whatsoever.
You'll encounter a second Jagged Peak Drake further up the Jagged Peak, actually fighting another dragon, but the approach remains the same. Maybe let the two dragons fight at a distance first to knock off some of the boss' health, then you can sweep in for an easier kill.
