As part of our Elden Ring guide, we're going to explain how to break the blue barriers at Sellia, Town of Sorcery.
How Do You Break the Blue Barriers at Sellia, Town of Sorcery in Elden Ring?
On this page, we're going to explain how to break the blue barriers at Sellia, Town of Sorcery. The goal is to light three braziers located in towers around the city. You'll do this by navigating across rooftops and upon tree roots.
How to Light the First Brazier
Travel through Sellia, Town of Sorcery, taking care to avoid the Sorcerers you encounter along the way, and up the staircase at the end of the main street. This is the exit from Sellia, Town of Sorcery, out to Sellia Backstreets and the Church of the Plague, where you'll find Millicent. You won't be able to get out because there's a blue seal blocking the route (although there is a Golden Seed opposite), so turn around and look for the tree root on the left.
Your goal is to navigate this across rooftops, to the south-eastern tower. There's a ladder you can climb directly up the tower, and if you're having difficulty you can summon Torrent to double jump your way across the rooftops. Climb up and Light Flame to remove the blue barrier blocking the passageway out to the Sellia Backstreets.
How to Light the Second Brazier
For the second brazier in Sellia, Town of Sorcery, return to the Site of Grace named Sellia Backstreets and head through the archway back into the city. This time look to the tower south-west. There's a broken portion of wall you can drop down to a tree root and then jump upwards to a ladder. Light Flame at the top to remove the blue barrier north-west, which reveals a fog door to the Nox Priest and Nox Swordstress. You can find out How to Beat Nox Priest and Nox Swordstress through the link, but you'll get the Nox Flowing Sword and Lusat's Glintstone Staff for your troubles.
How to Light the Third Brazier
To reach the third brazier, and remove the final two blue barriers from within Sellia, Town of Sorcery, you'll need to follow much the same route as the first brazier, but head to the tower further south-west. Using Torrent can come in handy here. Before you climb the ladder there's a corpse you can loot for a Stonesword Key. Then climb up, light the flame to reveal two treasure chests in the area: one including an Imbued Sword Key and another with the Night Comet.
