Elden Ring: How to Complete Belurat Gaol Guide 1

On this page, we're going to reveal how to complete Belurat Gaol. We'll include the location, a walkthrough, and any additional information, like item drops.

Belurat Gaol Location: How to Find It

From the Site of Grace in the Gravesite Plain called Three-Path Cross, head north beyond the bridge until you spot a lake on your left. At this point, pull up the map and you'll notice there's a path in between the two pools of water closest to you. Follow this path until you reach the cliff face to the west, then begin searching for an opening in the rock surrounded by metal fences and cages. In here is the Belurat Gaol.

Belurat Gaol: Walkthrough

Having found the Belurat Gaol and rested at the Site of Grace inside, you'll follow the path down into a series of cave networks, which first opens with an open space that has pots hanging from chains. Continue along the path to your left and watch out for the enemy that jumps out at you. Kill it, then head inside the room it came from to find a Grace Mimic and a Frozen Maggot. Exit back out into the main open area and continue down until the rock breaks beneath your feet. Kill the enemies you find in the next area, then head into the single room on your left to pick up a Silver Horn Tender.

Return to the main path and cross the chasm. where another Frozen Maggot will be on your right hanging off the cliff. Go down the only path ahead, through the pots and you'll encounter a dead end. Turn back on yourself and you'll discover a hole in the wall you can jump through.

Drop down, kill the enemies, then press on through the room full of cages and tables, with a Golden Rune [1] to pick up on the left. You'll enter into another vast, open cave, but first, roll through the barrels on your immediate right to find some Thawfrost Boluses. Now, go down the path to your left, speak to the ghost, then enter into the next space and go into the room on your right. You'll need to defeat some kind of new fleshy monster, then pick the Shadow Realm Rune [3] up off the corpse. Return to the previous room and look down the hole; you'll notice there are a series of pots you can drop down onto. You'll need to carefully navigate these pots and reach the bottom of the hole to progress.

Pick up the Glass Shard from the corpse along the way, then drop down to the bottom, taking extra care with the final jump as you can easily get yourself killed there. Defeat the pot enemies once you're back on solid ground as well as another two fleshy monsters, then continue down the only path open to you.

You'll come to a bridge; cross it while defeating the enemies along the way. You'll be heading for an altar with a gigantic pot, only for the path to break and drop you down into a room full of more pots. Pick up the Lost Ashes of War at the end of the main path, then turn around and look out for pots that are actually enemies. Attack them to create a new way through the area.

No matter which way you go, the path eventually leads you to a tunnel heading down, with a Smithing Stone [6] just outside it. Head down into the next area, defeat the pot enemies, grab the Warming Stone, and then jump across the small gap to the other side. At this point, you'll be ambushed by four of those fleshy monsters you've encountered previously. Play it safe and knock them off one by one. When they're dead, step onto the pot hanging by a chain on the edge and drop down to the area below.

You'll notice a fog door ahead of you, which means there's a Boss Fight on the other side. Please refer to our how to beat Demi-Human Swordmaster Onze guide for more information detailing how to overcome this encounter. You'll be rewarded with Demi-Human Swordsman Yosh for beating it, then the Belurat Gaol is complete.
