How do You Complete Bonny Gaol in Elden Ring?
On this page, we're going to reveal how to complete Bonny Gaol. We'll include the location, a walkthrough, and any additional information, like item drops.
Bonnny Gaol Location: How to Find It
Bonny Gaol is a place you can access on the way to the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. Please refer to our how to reach Cathedral of Manus Metyr guide for a detailed explanation, but essentially, you need to drop down to the bottom of the big hole in Moorth Ruins in the Scadu Altus. The cave will bring you out to Bonny Village, and then you need to take the bridge to the south to reach Bonny Gaol. It's just past the large scorpions where all the cages are.
Bonny Gaol: Walkthrough
Having rested at the Site of Grace inside, head down into the cave to discover this is another place absolutely jam-packed with pots. Approach the first enemy on the slope to your right, then take a hidden exit into a room to your right for a Frozen Maggot. Back out on the main slope down through the cave, head through the door opposite where you've just been and survive the enemy ambush to your right. Push open the door at the end and drop down the hole.
You'll drop down into a dark, flooded tunnel. Straight ahead of you, the tunnel will lead to a dead end with a Broken Rune. The path you actually want is behind you, so equip your Lantern to see better and push on. When the tunnel opens up a little and you spot a group of rats, kill them and hug the right-hand wall to find a small hidden room with a Smithing Stone [2]. You can now continue on and head up the ladder.
At the top, you'll find the Stalwart Horn Charm +2. Drop through the gap in the wall and you'll find yourself back at the entrance. So, where do you need to go next? Look to your left and peer over the edge of the chasm. There are big pots you can carefully drop down onto. The second one acts an elevator, transporting you down to the level below. If you head through the door at the end of the walkway, you'll find a Hefty Cracked Pot. Now, you need to return to the flooded tunnels you were in previously. There's a slightly hidden path in front of you and then along the left-hand wall from where you jump down the hole. This will lead you to a new part of Bonny Gaol. The path is where the enemies that look like piles of fleshy rubbish on the ground are.
Follow the water along the ground and then head through the gap in the rock in the back of this new area. You'll drop down into more rooms full of pots, eventually reaching the main chasm area on a lower level. Head through to the room on the other side, push open the door in the back, then drop down onto the pot immediately below you. It'll also act as an elevator, taking you down to the bridge below. Follow the stone path alongside the side of the rock to reach a fog door. On the other side, you'll find Curseblade Labirith waiting. For a guide covering the encounter, refer to our how to beat Curseblade Labirith page. The Bonny Gaol location will be complete once it's been defeated.
