Dragon's Pit Location: How to Find It

From the Site of Grace in front of Castle Ensis — labelled Castle Front — head southeast along the main path until you come to long glowing worms sticking out of the ground on either side. From here, take a right when the path divides and you'll spot an NPC crying on the ground. Talk to them, then follow the path through the statues all missing their heads. At the end will be Dragon's Pit.

Dragon's Pit: Walkthrough

Once you've rested at the Site of Grace, head down into Dragon's Pit. Kill the two enemies waiting (take into account they can come back to life), grab the Smithing Stone [1] off the corpse in the dead end, then take the other path that leads out into a wide, open cave. There's a Shadow Realm Rune [2] next to the altar on your left, then the main path continues straight on where the archer is. The tunnel to the left will lead to a staircase — head up it for a fight with a normal enemy version of the Magma Wyrm Makar. For beating it, you'll earn a Dragon Heart and an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone. It's also guarding a Smithing Stone [5] and Knot Resin.

Now return to the previous staircase and head down to the bottom, noting you've reached what looks like a dead end. However, if you drop off the edge right, you'll come to a new area with a fog door. On the other side is an encounter with Ancient Dragon-Man. For guidance on how to beat Ancient Dragon-Man, click the link. Once you've defeated him, don't return to the entrance of Dragon's Pit. Instead, push open the double doors in the back and follow the cave back out into the open to reach the path leading to Jagged Peak.
