How Do You Complete Ruined Forge Lava Intake in Elden Ring?
On this page, we're going to reveal how to complete Ruined Forge Lava Intake. We'll include the location, a walkthrough, and any additional information, like item drops.
Ruined Forge Lava Intake Location: How to Find It
You'll find Ruined Forge Lava Intake on the righthand side of the Ellac Greatbridge in the Gravesite Plain. From the Site of Grace called Castle Front, head southeast into the main valley where you'll find groups of female trolls fighting soldiers. Either kill them all or pass by, and head to the end of this area. When you notice some destroyed brickwork, approach the wall to find a hole in it leading down to the Ruined Forge Lava Intake.
Ruined Forge Lava Intake: Walkthrough
Having activated the Site of Grace inside, speak to the ghost and follow the path through down the ladder until you come to a fork. Take a left to encounter a new enemy type made entirely out of rock. To beat them, stagger them and then land a backstab on the red gem sticking out of its lower back. Take the Smithing Stone [5] off the corpse, then return to the path heading down. An enemy made entirely out of lava will drop from the ceiling, which can be easily defeated, then follow the linear path until you come out into an open room.
The only way forward is to drop down to the floor below. Behind you once you drop will be the Greater Potentate's Cookbook [13], and more rock enemies guard various Smithing Stones in this area. In order to progress, go down the small staircase opposite where you dropped down and you'll be met by a ledge overlooking a vast stretch of lava. Grab the Smithscript Dagger, then return to the previous room as you need to do something else first in order to progress.
Where you dropped down into this room, there's a staircase you can take up and around using a quick bit of jumping. Get onto the ledge across, then take a right to find a ladder leading back to the room with all the lava, except you're on the floor above. There's a lever you can pull here, which lowers a huge pipe you can use to cross. At the top, drop down to the right and select examine altar. You'll be rewarded with the Anvil Hammer and an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone. This completes the Ruined Forge Lava Intake.
