Self-Determination: Walkthrough
Self-Determination is a Side Quest you can pick up from the Reading Table in Clive's Chambers. Read the letter Captain Dorys and accept the quest to begin.
Approach the mess in The Hideaway, and watch the cutscene. Next, fast travel to Martha's Rest, then head to the marked location. At the market, go down the street to the right and turn left. Watch the cutscene.
Your next stop is the Baum Arches. The quickest way to get there is to fast travel to The Auldhyl Docks and go east to the marked location. When you reach it, watch the cutscene.
A group of enemies will attack. Defeat them.

- 40x Wyrrite
- 5x Magicked Ash
- 810 EXP
- 136 Ability Points
- 544 gil
After the fight, watch the cutscene, which ends the quest.
