Side Quest

Wanting to learn more of the state of the realm following the fall of its Mothercrystals and the darkening of its skies, Lord Byron Rosfield does what any man of means might: task one of his servants with the endeavour. That servant, however, now wishes to speak with Clive and urgently requests an audience in Martha's Rest.

Smooth Like Butler: Walkthrough

Smooth Like Butler is a Side Quest you can pick up from the Reading Table in Clive's Chambers. Read the letter A Humble Request and accept the quest to begin.

Fast travel to Martha's Rest. Go inside the inn and up the stairs to find Rutherford. Talk to him.

Next, fast travel to The Dalimil Inn. Follow the marker south of the town. As you get close, you'll get a brief cutscene, then you'll be in a fight against some soldiers.

Soldiers Spoils:

After the fight, watch the cutscene. Next, fast travel to Northreach. Follow the marker east. When you get to the location, speak to the Straitlaced Gent.

Head to the marked location and defeat the bandits there.

Bandits Spoils:

Next, watch the cutscene. Fast travel back to Martha's Rest and talk to Rutherford again, ending the quest.

  • Slay the mutinous soldiers
