With all eyes focused on the Crystalline Dominion, the fringes have begun to slowly fall into disarray as rumors of unspeakable atrocities abound. To make matters worse, trusted ally and friend to man and Bearer alike, Martha, has gone missing from her inn.

The Gathering Storm begins after the ending cutscene from the last quest. Otto enters Clive's room to report that Martha has gone missing. Head towards the mess hall to speak to him about it.

Afterwards, you'll need to fast travel to Martha's Rest. Once you're there, head into the inn. Watch the cutscene. This will begin a new quest, Dark Clouds Gather, which is required in order to continue. Click the link for more info.

Once this is done, you'll need to search Glaidemond Abbey for the abbot. Follow the marker to the small outbuilding and go inside, then watch the cutscene. After it's done, you'll receive another quest, Release. Again, you'll need to complete this before you can carry on. Click the link for help if you need it.

After this is finished, fast travel back to The Hideaway, then follow the marker to find Gav and speak to him. With the cutscene done, fast travel to Hawk's Cry Cliff and the quest is over.
