Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Beneath Still Waters Walkthrough

Beneath Still Waters can be claimed off the Community Noticeboard in Under Junon, and it comes with a Level 45 recommendation.

Midgar Seventh Infantry's Request

Your first port of call is to talk with members of the Seventh Infantry. You'll find them at Crater Cape on the southern shore of the Junon Region.

Defeat the Cornered Fiend

Follow the soldiers to a Hell Rider II and defeat it. Once you beat it, the monster will run off.

Track Down the Hell Rider II

Call in your Chocobo and have it pick up the scent of the Hell Rider II. Follow the scent trail to find the monster once more. When you find it, defeat the two winged enemies first, then use your Chocobo to find the scent once more. You can use the stairs to the left to get up the hill, then pick up the scent once more when you're at the top. When you finally find the Hell Rider II at the Fallen Citadel, beat it once and for all. The Commander will then turn up with your reward and the Side Quest is complete.
