Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Chapter 8 Walkthrough - All That Glitters
Following a pretty spectacular introduction to the Gold Saucer, you'll hop off the flying carriage and make your way outside for another cutscene. Aerith, Tifa, and Yuffie will get involved in some dance routines, and then Cloud is introduced to Dio and takes part in a 3D Brawler match. The girls and Red XIII will then rush off in search of even more fun, leaving Cloud and Barret to book some hotel rooms at The Haunted Hotel, where you'll be introduced to Cait Sith.
You'll eventually get rooms on the fourth floor, so head up there via the elevator. Barret will leave you be once you reach your suite, leaving Cloud to rest. As he sleeps, the game switches to Zack, who's with the other Cloud and Aerith. Check on Aerith and her Materia, then leave via the door on the left. Go downstairs for something to eat, and a lecture from Marlene.
The action then cuts back to Cloud at the Gold Saucer, who's woken up a few hours later by a knock at the door. It's Tifa checking up on him, who wants Cloud to accompany her on a look around the amusement park. It's then explained how you can earn Gold Saucer Points by taking part in the park's attractions and then cashing them in for collector's items at kiosks dotted around the place. Take the elevator back down to the lobby and then a cutscene shows Barret noticing something concerning. You're still playing as Cloud, though, so head for the objective markers within the Gold Saucer.
You'll need to check out the Wonderment Square, Event Square, Speed Square, Battle Square, Chocobo Square, and finally Skywheel Square. You can ride Galactic Saviors, play G-Bike, and compete in the Musclehead Colosseum. Just as Cloud and Tifa are about to do on a date on the Skywheel, you'll need to return to the Battle Square as Cait Sith informs them there's been a shooting. Head into the back area, where the blame will be placed on Barret. That's obviously not what actually happened, so now we need to clear his name.
Cait Sith will guide you down to the Corel Prison, where the team will be taken hostage. To raise the funds to get out and learn of Barret's whereabouts, you'll need to win Chocobo races. Grab the Umbral Blade from the purple chest as you're escorted there, then at the Chocoboutique, you'll discover Billy from the Grasslands is here and you'll be racing Piko. He's in bad shape, though, so you need to find some food so the Chocobo can regain its strength.
You can earn some food by playing Desert Rush, taking the key to the bartender's garden and hiking up there, and beating other players at Queen's Blood. Once you have three greens, feed Piko and he'll be ready to race. To start the race, speak to Garth. It'll actually be Esther escorting you, then once you're in the lobby, get a bit of practice in and then it'll be time for the real thing. You'll need to win the race, then Gus will release you and let you go after Barret.
Once you're back out in the open, follow the vulture to the scrapyard where Barret is being held. He'll turn up in the next cutscene, explaining who the real murderer back at the Gold Saucer is in a flashback. When you take back control, push forward and take the Vulcan Cannon from the purple chest, then drop down into the next area to find Dyne. Before passing through the fence, Barret will make a point of doing this alone, so you'll only have him in your party for the next section.
Approach the red double doors in the back to find Dyne tied to a chair, who's seemingly gone mad. Barret will untie and rescue him, but having spotted Cloud, the reunion turns into a boss fight.
It's still just Barret you're controlling, so make use of his gun and Abilities to stagger Dyne. Most of his attacks — also deployed with a gun on the end of his arm — are quite easily avoidable, and since Barret is such a tank with a big health bar, you shouldn't need to heal that much. The boss will go through a few different phases and attack patterns, but if you're sufficiently levelled, this encounter shouldn't be much of a problem for you.
After the cutscene, once you succeed in battle, you'll return to Cloud's perspective as Shinra helicopters hang overhead. Head back the way you came to find Dyne. You'll now face off against the Anuran Suppressor, which is weak to Lightning. Employ the same strategies as you have in previous boss encounters: focus on the stagger meter so you can deploy massive damage during those phases. About halfway through the fight, you'll be able to target its right and left legs, which should be focused on to flip the machine temporarily, allowing you to focus on the stagger gauge.
After the fight and ensuing cutscene, Dio will lend you a monster truck to help escape Shinra forces. With motorbikes and helicopters giving pursuit, use Barret's gun to shoot them down. Palmer will also have one last stand as part of this sequence in his big robot; target the laser cannon when you can.
After the next series of cutscenes, you'll be playing as Zack again, who's looking for Biggs. Run through the Sector 5 Undercity, asking townsfolk with speech bubbles above their heads if they've seen him before. Having asked 4 people, an explosion will happen in the background, so follow your objective marker to see what's happened. There, you'll find Biggs and Chapter 8 ends.

"The action then cuts back to Cloud at the Gold Saucer, who's woken up a few hours later by a knock at the door. It's Tifa checking up on him, who wants Cloud to accompany her on a look around the amusement park."
This is actually determined by which girl you have the highest affection with. However, it seems if you have your strongest bond with a male character it's different. Annoyingly, I had Red XIII and he was seen walking away from my room but didn't accompany me. At the Battle Square he was chilling out and would help me in the battles but that was it.
