Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Lament of the Damned Walkthrough

Lament of the Damned is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth that takes place in the Nibel Region. As part of our Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth guide, we're going to provide a Lament of the Damned Walkthrough that covers all the stages of the Side Quest.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Lament of the Damned Walkthrough

Lament of the Damned can be claimed off the Community Noticeboard in the Nibel Region. It has a Level 44 recommendation.

The Supervisor's Request

Go to the Town Hall and speak to the Supervisor to see what needs doing. Select "Nothing" when prompted during the conversation.

Investigate Shinra Manor

Ever since you used the terminal in Shinra Manor, the Supervisor has heard ghostly calls. Head on over to investigate what's up.

Investigate the Lower Levels

Once you enter, Vincent will show up and claim he feels something coming from the lower levels. Take the elevator on the left down to the Sub-Basement. Follow Vincent to the elevator, where he'll give you his keycard. On the level below, you'll find the Shinra Manor's combat simulator challenges.

Complete the Combat Simulator Challenges

Another hologram of Hojo will introduce you to the building's combat simulations, which consist of 4 encounters you must complete with specific objectives.

Identify the Voice

Having completed all the combat trials, continue on into the control room to find out who the ghostly voice belongs to. It's actually just a monster called a Dranabarga, so defeat it to complete the Side Quest.
