Where Are All Shinto Shrine Locations in Ghost of Tsushima?
All of the Shinto Shrine locations in Ghost of Tsushima are listed below. Some shrines can only be accessed later in the game as the main story progresses.
Some shrines also require a grappling hook — a tool that you acquire during the main story. If you find a Shinto Shrine that requires the hook, the game will let you know with an on-screen message. Be sure to come back to these locations in order to complete all of the Shinto Shrines.
There are a total of 16 Shinto Shrines in Ghost of Tsushima.
All Shinto Shrine Locations in Act 1
All of the following Shinto Shrines can be accessed as soon as you're free to wander the open world. However, as mentioned, some shrines located in the starting area of the map require the grappling hook. As such, we've placed the location of these particular Shinto Shrines in Act 2, as that's when you'll be able to access them properly.

These Shinto Shrines can only be accessed past a certain point in the main story. 2 of them are located back in the starting area of the map, but they require the grappling hook to complete, which you'll have acquired by this point in the game.
