God of War: How to Fully Upgrade the Leviathan Axe

How do you fully upgrade the Leviathan Axe in God of War? Kratos' primary weapon is the Leviathan Axe, and in order to unlock the Worthy Trophy you’ll need to fully upgrade it to its maximum level of six. To get the Leviathan Axe to Level 6 you need to upgrade it at one of Brok or Sindri’s shops. In order to level up the Leviathan Axe you’ll need Frozen Flames, which you’ll discover throughout the campaign by beating bosses. Finishing the story will get you to Level 5, but you’ll need to work a little harder for the full upgrade. God of War: How to Fully Upgrade the Leviathan Axe

To fully upgrade the Leviathan Axe in God of War you’ll need to first complete the story. Beating the bosses will get you enough Frozen Flames to upgrade the Leviathan Axe to Level 5, but you’ll need one more for the Worthy Trophy.

The final Frozen Flame can be obtained by trading a Chilling Mist of Niflheim for a Frozen Flame at one of Brok or Sindri’s shops. You’ll find the Chilling Mist of Niflheim while retrieving all treasure from the workshop’s center chamber in Niflheim. Click through the link to learn a little more about that.

Once you’ve got the Chilling Mist of Niflheim, go to one of Brok or Sindri’s shops and trade it for a Frozen Flame. You’ll find the option to trade in the Buy tab under Resources. Once you’ve got your hands on the Frozen Flame, you can fully upgrade Leviathan Axe and grab the Worthy Trophy.
