GTA 5: Prologue

Prologue is the first Main Mission in GTA 5 that, as the name would suggest, works as an introduction to the title's main mechanics and two of the three protagonists: Michael and Trevor. In this GTA 5 guide, we are going to share a Prologue walkthrough and a Prologue Gold Medals checklist.

Prologue: Gold Medals Checklist

The requirements for all Gold Medals in Prologue are as follows:

Prologue: Walkthrough

• The very first mission in the game largely serves as a tutorial that teaches you some of the most basic features and elements, like shooting and character switching. As a bank vault heist, you'll need to aim at hostages to make them comply, trigger the explosive charge from your phone to open the vault, and then collect the cash inside.

• Having got the money, it's time to escape. Getting away won't be easy as law enforcement has turned up outside, so escape the cops by shooting them and working your way down the road. At the crossroads, you'll find your escape vehicle parked by the Ludendorff sign.

• Your driver will be shot by the cops, so you'll take over the wheel as Michael and need to make it to the helicopter pick up point. You'll soon crash into the train as you try to escape, then as Trevor, there's a final stand against the cops to contest as the mission ends.

• Go to the guard.
• Aim at the hostages to make them move.
• Use the phone to trigger the explosive charge.
• Collect the cash.
• Take out the guard.
• Get to cover.
• Open the shutter door.
• Escape the cops.
