Looking for Forgotten Hall explained and how to earn stars in Honkai: Star Rail? Forgotten Hall is a game mode in HoYoverse's turnbased RPG unlocked after completing the Adventure Mission named Fleeting Lights. Fulfilling objectives in the Forgotten Hall unlocks stars, which in turn earns rewards, including Stellar Jade. On this page, as part of our Honkai: Star Rail guide, we're going to include information on Forgotten Hall explained and how to earn stars.
What Is the Forgotten Hall and How Do You Earn Stars in Honkai: Star Rail?
The Forgotten Hall, found on the Astral Express, consists of different combat gauntlets, each with unique completion conditions which, when fulfilled, unlock stars. These stars can then be traded in for rewards, including Stellar Jade. Each stage in the Forgotten Hall has unique effects and some are afflicted with Memory Turbulence, which alters the dynamics of the battles with unexpected buffs or debuffs. As such, you may want to consider selecting your team specifically based on these factors, as smart decisions will give you a distinct advantage in battle.
Each stage of the Forgotten Hall will need to be completed within a set number of cycles, or turns, and if you exceed the maximum limit then you'll fail. Conversely, if you manage to keep your number of cycles below the designated threshold, then you'll earn more stars, which will contribute towards you earning your rewards quicker.
It should be noted that the Forgotten Hall operates outside of the core game, and thus Equilibrium Levels do not have an impact on the difficulty of the enemies you'll face. Furthermore, once you start a stage you won't be able to access traditional systems, like party setup, your inventory, and character levelling. For the later stages, you'll have to setup two different teams, and we've included the recommended Elements you should target in our guide below.
Currently the Forgotten Hall consists of two permanent Memories and one Memory of Chaos. The Memory of Chaos changes evert 14 days or so, meaning it offers a steady supply of rewards as long as you fulfil its completion conditions in time. Below we've included a full guide to the permanent Memories, which are inspired by the locations Jarilo-VI and The Xianzhou Luofu respectively.
All enemies receive increased DoT by 50%. At the start of every Cycle, there is a high chance of inflicting Bleed, Shock, Burn, and Wind Shear on all enemies. Status inflicted in this way will last for 2 turn(s).
At the start of every Cycle, summon 2 Mara-Struck Soldiers or Abundance Sprite: Golden Hounds. After an enemy target is defeated, deals a set amount of DMG to all enemies.
After an ally uses Skill on any ally (including on themselves), dispels 1 debuff on the ally which the Skill was used on. For each debuff dispelled, increases the DMG dealt by all allies by 20%. This effect can stack up to 10 times. Defeating the Elite or stronger enemy in the final wave will immediately result in victory.
In order to earn stars in the Forgotten Hall, you'll need to fulfil the completion conditions of each stage outlined in the list of objectives above. You can earn a maximum of three stars for each stage, and these stack, so you can earn all three in one attempt, for example. You can then exchange any stars you've earned for rewards, which include crucial currencies such as Stellar Jade.
