Aerial Captures are a new type of collectable in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores, taking you up into the sky for some airborne views. Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores: All Aerial Captures Locations

Below, we have outlined where to find all Aerial Captures in Burning Shores, along with how to solve them. You can locate their rough locations by pinging the Focus with R3 — this will temporarily highlight an area in pink. There are 6 Aerial Captures in total.

How to Solve Aerial Captures

Once you reach the location of an Aerial Capture, interact with it and it will add a new marker to your map. Fly to this location, and a flight path will appear. Follow this trail all the way along. You'll receive audio logs that provide some lore about the area. At the end of the trail, press R3 to activate the Aerial Capture and "collect" it.

Aerial Capture: East

This Aerial Capture's starting location is to the eastern side of the map, north of Cauldron: THETA.

Travel to the Campfire near the lava flow and follow the road northwest. To the left you'll see some ruins, where this Aerial Capture is located.

Aerial Capture: North

This Aerial Capture's starting location is right at the north edge of the map, situated near a Devotee Outpost.

It's located on an overlook that stands out among all the greenery. The easiest way to reach it is to fly to the location and drop down, as its proximity to the Devotee Outpost means there are some enemies very close by.

Aerial Capture: Northeast

This Aerial Capture's starting location is northeast of Fleet's End, near a Shelter and inside a ruined building.

From the Shelter, head southeast and climb up the rocks. Go right and around the ruins, then take a left inside to find the black box.

Aerial Capture: Northwest

This Aerial Capture's starting location is inside a ruined building northwest of Fleet's End.

As you approach the building, you will see a climbable path up one side. Simply climb to the top and the Aerial Capture is inside.

Aerial Capture: West

This Aerial Capture is a bit tougher than the others. Located to the west side of the map, you'll notice a large storm cloud above a particular island.

Fly into this storm cloud. You need to find the Stormbird that's flying inside the cloud. Aloy will track it with the Focus, which will produce a flight path for you to follow. Eventually, this will trigger a fight with the Stormbird. You will need to kill it before you can get the Aerial Capture.

Once you have, loot it. The Aerial Capture is inside the middle building on the island behind a door.

Aerial Capture: South

You can only find this Aerial Capture after finding all the previous ones. Its location will be added to the map automatically, but it's south of Fleet's End.
