On this page, we're going to list all Outfits and Guardian Collectibles in Chapter 1 of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy in the order you will discover them. Chapter 1 contains 2 Outfits and 2 Guardian Collectibles.

Outfit #1: Rocket's Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

Shortly after landing in the Quarantine Zone, you will slide down a long piece of metal, and Rocket will remark "pretty sure that way's a dead-end" before taking the path to the left. You should head right and walk along the blue path, then dropping down the hatch on the left. Then turn right and the Outfit will be right in front of you. Interact with it and you'll pick up the Outfit.

Guardian Collectible #1: Ravager Comm Bracelet

Once Rocket begins the bet with Star-Lord and adds a scoreboard to the HUD at the top, run through the destroyed ship and drop down into the level below as part of a cutscene. Go through the crawlspace and in the next room will be some grey goo on the right. Shoot it and destroy it, and left behind will be Guardian Collectible #1: Ravager Comm Bracelet.

Outfit #2: Groot's Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

Directly after the cutscene where Star-Lord and Rocket reunite with Groot, you'll enter the corridor Groot appeared from and take that path. As soon as you regain control of Star-Lord, look to your right and there'll be a crawl space at the bottom of the pink goo. Crawl through and the box containing Groot's Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) Outfit will be to your left.

Guardian Collectible #2: Spinal Control Unit

Shortly after picking up Outfit #1: Groot's Guardians of the Galaxy, you will become separated from Rocket and Groot, falling down a shaft and coming across a new enemy type. Once they've been eliminated, you'll need to find a way out. Head to the opposite end of the room, turn right, and then right again to find a climbing spot. Once you've reached a new level, turn around. There will be some black goo to shoot at on the other side of the platform. Cross and shoot the black goo, performing a Rapid Reload in the process to make it explode. You will then find Guardian Collectible #1: Spinal Control Unit underneath.
