Marvel's Spider-Man 2: Finally Free

Finally Free is the 32nd Mission in the Main Story of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and sees Peter try to find the meteorite that could be the key to saving Harry from the symbiote. As part of our Marvel's Spider-Man 2 guide, we are going to reveal everything you need to know about Finally Free.

Walkthrough

Dr. Connors believes Harry is beyond saving now the symbiote has fully taken over his body — and is being used to control the city. Peter reckons the meteorite could be used to save him, though, so swing over to the objective marker to begin your search. Dispose of all the Symbiotes there, then rush over to the next waypoint marker where more people need your help. Defeat all the Symbiotes so the people trapped on the bus can escape, then Miles will give you a call and ask to meet up somewhat nearby, who's packing a new Suit.

The game will then switch to the perspective of Miles, who's set himself the task of clearing out the nearby symbiote nest while Peter is off looking for the meteorite. Swing over to the rooftop and plant Sonic Bursts where prompted, then defend it as the countdown timer reaches zero. You can then interact with the heart and you'll be transported inside it (we presume?). Swing through the area and approach the bright centre. The heart will show you Hailey getting kidnapped by Symbiotes, but also the meteorite Peter is searching for. Miles will then return to the real world and let Peter know what he saw.

You'll switch back to playing as Peter, who's going to search for the place Miles saw. Clear the bridge of all Symbiotes when you get there, then approach the subway tunnel. The game will quickly cut to Miles, who's managed to save Hailey and ask her out on a date, and then it's back to Peter in the subway.

Follow the linear path through the subway, wall-crawling and swinging when needed. When you reach the open area, the lights will go out and Peter will be surrounded by Symbiotes. Deal with them all. If you have a Surge charged (L3 + R3), we strongly recommend using it now. It'll allow you to deal with most of the Symbiotes without taking much damage. You can then crawl through the tunnel that opens up after the fight and the Mission will be complete in the cutscene.
