Marvel's Spider-Man 2: Stay Positive

Stay Positive is the 19th Mission in the Main Story of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and sees Peter try to create a cure for Dr. Connors. This Mission is exclusive to Peter. As part of our Marvel's Spider-Man 2 guide, we're going to reveal everything you need to know about Stay Positive.

Walkthrough

Right after escaping from Kraven in The Flames Have Been Lit, you'll get calls from Harry and MJ that take you back to the Emily-May Foundation. Once there, you'll need to destroy more corrupted atoms in the minigame and then crawl through the particle accelerator in order to realign the tunnel and then stabilise the particle beam surging through the middle of it. Using the PS5 controller's adaptive triggers, you need to keep the yellow, circular icons in the grey areas at the same time in order to stabilise the beam. Once you've done that twice, crawl out of the tunnel.

The unstable nature of the particle accelerator has led to fires breaking out across the Emily-May Foundation, which you'll need to extinguish with your Web. Run around the facility putting them all out, and note there are some fires raging on the floor above you too. Harry will take a fire extinguisher to the last one, and just as the two friends begin discussing shutting down the particle accelerator, Hunters break in. While he's prepping the shutdown sequence, deal with the invaders.

In a cutscene, Peter will learn how to perform the Symbiote Blast, which will come in handy as you work through a corridor of Hunters. Once they're all down, a new enemy type will reveal itself in a boss fight: a Hunter Brute. Equipped with a huge axe, it'll generally swing in a three-hit sequence that you can Parry if you time your button press correctly — look out for the red flash straight after the yellow one. Once they've been defeated, a helicopter will shatter through the roof, but it'll get caught on something and crash. The Hunters inside are still alive, though, and you'll need to send them to their grave as the facility falls apart around you.

If you've got a Symbiote Surge charged, this would be the perfect encounter to use it as there are loads of enemies around and you can take damage from many angles. Therefore, thinning their numbers quickly gives you a big advantage. Once you've beaten them all, Peter will rescue Harry and the cure to end the Mission.
