What Is Fighter Currency in MultiVersus?

Fighter Currency is one of the in-game currencies featured in MultiVersus, signified by a green triangle symbol. As its name suggests, its purpose is entirely focused on unlocking new playable characters.

What Does Fighter Currency Do in MultiVersus?

You use Fighter Currency in MultiVersus to obtain new characters to play with throughout the game. Once you've earned enough Fighter Currency, you'll be able to spend it on unlocking new characters.

How Do You Get Fighter Currency in MultiVersus?

There are a few ways to get Fighter Currency in MultiVersus. We've outlined each way you can obtain Fighter Currency below:

Events

You can earn Fighter Currency by completing special, seasonal Events in MultiVersus. The amount you obtain will differ per Event.

Missions

In-game Missions will sometimes reward you with Fighter Currency in addition to XP.

Rifts Mode

Another way to earn Fighter Currency is to play Rifts mode. Rifts is a single-player, arcade-like mode in MultiVersus. Each character has their own path through Rifts, and you'll gather yourself a good amount of Fighter Currency by going through each of them.

Battle Pass

Fighter Currency will also feature as an occasional reward on the Battle Pass in MultiVersus. As you work through each season's Battle Pass, you'll obtain Fighter Currency at certain tiers.

Account Mastery

As you play MultiVersus, you'll steadily complete passive objectives in your account mastery track. For completing certain feats over time and levelling up, you will earn yourself some Fighter Currency.

Character Mastery

Similarly, each character has their own mastery track. As you level up each fighter, you'll earn some rewards, including some Fighter Currency.
