Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the follow-up to 2019's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, set in between the events of Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope. With friends old and new helping him along the way, Cal Kestis returns to fight back against the Empire and find a new home for the Jedi. The title launched on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on 28th April 2023. In our Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS5 review, we awarded the game a 9/10 and called it "comfortably one of the franchise's best-ever games".
The game is now available on Xbox Game Pass and EA Play, with all of the below guides applying to the versions you'll find on those services.
In this Star Wars Jedi: Survivor guide, we are going to cover Side Quests like Rumors and Jedi Chambers. Next up, our guide answers FAQs and provides Help to get you started with the game and then offers recommendations for some of its most important mechanics. Alongside Trophies, we shall finish with some Tips and Tricks for Beginners.
While we have tried to keep them to a minimum on this page, please note you might encounter Star Wars Jedi: Survivor spoilers below. Please browse with a good degree of caution. Furthermore, our guide is based on the PS5 version of the game. Since the experience won't differ on other platforms, though, the information will apply across every edition.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Guide: Tips and Tricks for Beginners
In the final part of our Star Wars Jedi: Survivor guide, we'll share some Tips and Tricks for Beginners that will help you get more out of the game and be better aware of certain things. You can pick between many difficulty options to modify the toughness of combat, so our suggestions will focus more on exploration and upgrades than anything else.
Return to Pyloon's Saloon Regularly
Pyloon's Saloon acts as your home base throughout the game, providing a place to rest and regain your strength for the next mission. It's also the place to be for conversation, excitement, and optional missions. The game will notify you of this, but make sure to return to the cantina following most major story beats for new chats with the locals, more info, and additional quests to complete. There are many friendly faces more than worth getting to know at Pyloon's Saloon.
Unlock the Aerial Assault Skill
If you're using the lightsaber stance for just a single blade, you need to unlock the Aerial Assault skill as fast as possible. Upon jumping in the air, you're able to land with a powerful attack that'll either take out a big chunk of health or stagger an enemy. Using this move, you can jump out of the way of attacks and then come back down with your own lethal force. It's a really effective ability that makes some encounters a lot easier, especially when you can spam it with a full Force meter.
Use Your Map for Progress Clues
If you ever get stuck or aren't sure where to head next, always make sure to check the map. As well as giving you the general direction of an objective, it also marks undiscovered areas around you and what objects can be interacted with. This includes walls you can run across or use to jump up to higher levels, doorways that are accessible, and puzzle pieces you can do something with.
Don't Worry About Areas You Can't Seem to Reach
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is structured a lot like a Metroidvania, meaning you'll encounter puzzles and objects you purposefully can't interact with yet. These could unlock access to new places, so you needn't worry if you're struggling to work out how to solve something. You'll gain access to new abilities as you progress through the story, and then you can return to those locations to see what they were hiding.
That concludes our Star Wars Jedi: Survivor guide, which we hope proved helpful for whatever piece of information you were looking for. If you have any further suggestions or need an extra bit of help, feel free to use the comments below.

Are you referring to a 10% discount on EA play? because it certainly is not free.
@gamer1889 I noticed this too, I think it is an error with the listing and is supposed to be included with the subscription. I just signed up to play the game so I'm hoping they fix it soon
