The Last of Us 1: Ranch House Walkthrough

You're now on horseback following the Hydroelectric Dam, and you're looking for Ellie. Follow Tommy onto the road and through the tunnel. You'll eventually reach a dead-end, so turn back and follow the horse tracks on the ground. Eventually you'll come to a waterfall, and shortly after you'll be ambushed.

As the battle begins, pick off any bandits and then flank the enemies from the right to pick them off. Make your way up towards the Ranger Station and then deal with any remaining enemies. Once you've cleared everyone out, return to your horse and climb aboard.

Continue to follow the tracks through the lush scenery. There are a couple of paths you can take off the beaten path, although there's very little to see other than dead-ends. Explore them if you want to, though, of course. Eventually, you'll come to Hidden Pines Corral, and Tommy will point out that Ellie's horse is stationed outside.

Firefly Pendant #1: Pino's Firefly Pendant

Park your horse outside Hidden Pines Corral and go in the house. There are Supplements in the bathroom on the ground floor. Go into the study at the back of the house, and you'll find a Firefly Pendant named Pino's Firefly Pendant on the desk.

Comic #1: Zero Point

Go up the stairs, and in the bedroom immediately on the left, you'll find a Comic named Zero Point on the chest of drawers, near to all the baseball paraphernalia. Feel free to loot the rest of the house, then speak with Ellie in the door at the end of the hall.

After the cutscene ends, prepare yourself, because you're about to get ambushed by bandits. Wait for the first one to end the bathroom and stealth kill him, then take the other one out in the kid's bedroom where you got the Comic early.

There are three more downstairs. Stay on the stairs and wait for them to split off into different rooms, then pick them off one-by-one. Once you've defeated them all, head back outside and climb on your horse. Go Big Horns is next, at the University.
