Monochrome Film is the main paid currency in Zenless Zone Zero, and it can only be acquired by spending real money. Generally, you'll be using your Monochrome Film to convert directly into Polychrome, which can then be spent on Encrypted Master Tapes.
We wouldn't recommend buying the bundles from the Signal Shop, as these tend to include Investigator Logs and Power Supplies which can be earned through gameplay or the New Eridu City Fund.

So if 1 monochrome is worth 1 polychrome why not sell polychrome instead? And if polychrome is only used to buy tapes why not sell tapes instead? This is why I don’t play gatcha games.
