Expect Sackboy Branded Valentine's Day Cards.

Many of us were waiting for this to happen around the time of LittleBigPlanet's release last year. It didn't quite happen then, but now it's about to. Sony have secured a deal with Impact International to put Sackboy, erm, everywhere — plush items, bean toys, bobbleheads, mugs, bags; you name it - it's coming.

In what is probably a smart move to make Sackboy the new international Hello Kitty-esque chic, Brazier and Co. are also set to release Sackboy "PVC figurines" and even a "limited edition themed version" of our favourite protagonist. There are also Sony IP based posters on the way with MotorStorm, inFamous, God Of War, Wipeout, Killzone and Resistance all getting the treatment from GB Eye Limited.

This is likely to be a smart move from Sony. Not only does it give fans items they want, it also gives Sony IP a store-presence beyond games. Which can only be good for the franchises right?

We really want Sackboy to take off as a character because he's ingenious.
