The game is a pretty standard third-person shooter involving aliens and what-not. The twist? You can adapt the gravity of objects with the protagonist's Grappler weapon. You'll need to aswell, because it's not just a case of you manipulating the gravity, but the gravity also manipulating you. For example, you might walk into a room and end up on the ceiling. Pretty cool.
It definitely sounds like the pitch has potential. It won't be the first time a game has really tackled the subject of gravity, but it certainly has a window to perfect. If Inversion can nail that gravity based gameplay it could be a lot of fun.
