Sony Online Entertainment's Aiming To Fill A Void Of Japanese Shmups On PSN.

Those games being: Gundemonium Recollection, GunDead Gline, Hitogata Happa. The idea's to fill a bit of a void on the Playstation Network which has seen a slight lack of quality Japanese shmups.

And Rockin' Android are understandably stoked about the deal: "One of our game plans was to get these games on a console system, because we always believed that they were meant to be played on a gamepad. Sony came in at the perfect time," the studio told Gamasutra. "Xbox had some Japanese shooters already, we felt that Sony didn't really have those on PlayStation Network, so we thought that [PSN] was just the perfect home."
