In a move presumably implemented to prevent piracy, Sony's announced that a day-one patch for Gran Turismo 5 will be required to unlock the game's multiplayer component
The 133mb update is apparently available now for those who've snagged a copy of the game early. For the rest of you — 12 hours to go.
