Ok. This is nuts. Hyperdimension Neptunia (and we quote) is a "take on the seventh generation era 'console war' between the three major consoles: XBOX 360, PlayStation and Wii". It takes place in the world Gamindustri and is split into four different regions: Planeptune, Leanbox, Lastation and Lowee. While the other regions are obvious, apparently Planeptune refers to the SEGA Neptune and hints at the hypothetical successor to the Dreamcast.

This is so awesome. It's so good it makes us want the Premium Edition, which includes a hardcover art book, packaged along with the game inside a "premium"-sized box.

We're actually tempted to get our import on.
