It's wall-to-wall betas on PlayStation 3 at the moment: just as many gamers are ripping through the Move-enabled Killzone 3 beta, Zipper Interactive is bringing a beta of upcoming shooter SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy Seals to PlayStation 3 owners soon.
For a limited time, copies of Killzone 3 will contain access to the beta, which will be made available later this year, but Zipper Interactive is also planning alternative ways in, so expect to see PlayStation Plus members and Zipper fans included in the beta goodness.
There's no word on whether the beta will include the full game's PlayStation Move support, nor the newly-announced support for 3DTVs, but as SOCOM 4 launches in North America on April 19th there's not too long to wait to find out. We'll keep you updated right here at Movemodo.

Any UK release date yet? Can't wait for this ( i love my tactical shooters )
Nothing yet, sadly. The Sony UK press site still lists it as "TBC 2010"!
you can always import if they make to big a gap.
I'm new to the PS3 as well as this site- only had it several days. Are we able to play copies from other countries without the PS3 being hacked?
@Wastedyuth.... Welcome to the site, and to PlayStation as well.
The PlayStation 3 has no region protection, so you can import away without any loss in gameplay or trophies either.
Thanks slapshot
Looks great! With move and 3d, definitely on my to get list.
Cool. Sony should do a promotion, buy Killzone 3 and get early access to SOCOM 4 beta or something. The Move and 3D works very well on Killzone 3
