But that game's already old news, as the Japanese publisher has just announced Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3. And it's coming out as soon as November.
The "mid-range" re-release (read: $40) will include 12 new fighters and eight new arenas. That brings the game's roster up to 50, which is definitely not a number to be sniffed at. New fighters will include Strider, Firebrand, Ghost Rider and Hawkeye — though Capcom's clearly going to drip-feed the remaining eight characters at various industry events (GamesCom, PAX, etc). [Update @ 19:32PM BST: Erm, no they're not, Joystiq's just leaked the lot.]
Most importantly, the re-release will include an overhauled online multiplayer mode, allowing you to spectate other people's matches at long, long last.
Check out the trailer after the jump.
