In fact, for the period of a week our PlayStation Network friends list was pretty much dominated by Gran Turismo 5. (A year on there's still two or three folks that haven't really put anything else into their system).
But while Polyphony Digital is committed to supporting its previous game with DLC, honcho Kazunori Yamauchi has confirmed that a new Gran Turismo game is already in development.
"Of course we're working on Gran Turismo 6 already," he said in an interview with IGN.
While it's heartening to hear that Gran Turismo 6 is definitely on the horizon, IGN also pushed for details on what sort of DLC we could expect to release for its current game in the future.
What we do from here on is also really dependent on the reaction of the users to this first DLC that we just released because this is the first one, he said.
Now we have the feedback from our customers and well see how that will affect what we will do from here.
