It will be the fourth year in a row that Ubisoft has had an entry in its acrobatic series, and while Guillemot refused to comment further on the game, it's prompted heavy speculation that the release will be called Assassin's Creed III and feature Desmond as the game's main protagonist.
Speaking of its upcoming Assassin's Creed title, Guillemot revealed that pre-orders for Revelations were significantly higher than Brotherhood, though the firm admitted it's still projecting a decline in sales for the release. Guillemot said that the company was being "prudent" in this regard.
Earlier on, Ubisoft announced that the Assassin's Creed series had scooped up sales in excess of 31 million units to date.
