PlayStation Minis obtained for free through Sony’s premium subscription service, PlayStation Plus, do not work on the PS Vita. Members of the official PlayStation forum discovered the unfortunate bug and raised their concerns online. Sony's said it is "aware of the issue, and will resolve it as quickly as possible".
To clarify: PlayStation Minis purchased outside of PlayStation Plus work perfectly fine, it’s just those obtained for free through the subscription service that kick out an error. If we had to guess, we’d put the issue down to the expiration date that comes attached to all PlayStation Plus downloads.
Hopefully the problem’s fixed soon – we’re a couple of levels away from getting 100% in OMG-Z.

I hope this issue gets fixed. I never really play the minis on my PS3 because when I sit down to play my PS3, I prefer to play bigger games and I feel like the minis are best suited to be played on a handheld.
Most of my free minis stopped working both on my ps3 and my psp even though I renewed my ps+ subscription. Not sure how to fix it.
That giraffe is definitely going hungry now...

All you have to do is delete and redownload the expired minis. They should have the new expiration date once you redownload them. The same goes for the free psone classics. I had to do this with a bunch of my games when I renewed.
When I re-upped my subscription, I was able to click on games that claimed to be expired and they worked. The date updated automatically when I played them. Not sure why that doesn't seem to work for everyone...but I really wish they'd worked out a better system for the games than expiration date in the first place.
Oh, and the lack of PS+ function on the Vita stinks. I hope they not only get this fixed but also start rolling out discounts and freebies for Vita games in the near future.
@SilentJ
Thanks man. I've tried it with the mini game Vector TD, but it didn't work. It's the only mini I actually really liked
