Given the choice between saving someone’s life or earning a new PlayStation Network trophy, we’re not sure what we’d choose – but we never thought we’d be faced with the dilemma. Plastic’s new PlayStation Move title Datura makes that conundrum a reality though, and we couldn’t be more intrigued by the prospect.
In a short video posted on the PlayStation Blog, producer Matt Morton shows off a small slice of the ambitious PlayStation Network game. In the demo he happens upon a statue which contains a pickaxe. Picking up the pickaxe transports him to an icy landscape, where he must choose between rescuing a desperate human from beneath the ice or a trophy.
According to the developer there’s no right choice – the game simply changes depending on your actions.
Linger in Shadows remains one of our favourite PlayStation Network experiments, so we’re keen to try this out.

I can't work out if I am excited by this game or it will just be the most beautifully boring game ever envisaged.
I'm really looking forward to Datura! These type of game, or better yet, experience really tug my interest.
I'd definitely take the PSN trophy. Not like the person is real or alive, they're just a computer animation designed to toy with human emotions, but no, it's not getting a tear or whatever out of me.
@LittleBigVita Ice cold!
