We’ve all spent trips to the seaside playing in the sand, but Spec Ops: The Line doesn’t look quite so innocent.
The Yager developed shooter sees the typically tranquil Dubai coated in more sand than the Sahara desert. It doesn't help that there's a number of shady folks hanging around either.
The good news is that you play as a super soldier voiced by Nolan North. If popular culture has taught us anything, it’s that the sharp-witted Americans always win.

Is it just me, or is there going to be a wide surplus of PS3 FPS releases, right before it's lifespan ends, and the PS4's lifespan begins? Only one actual shooter is coming to the PlayStation Vita, and that one game is releasing next month. Yet, I keep seeing bunches of PlayStation 3-FPS-related news on Push Square. Let us sit, wait and embrace the rule, that good things come to the people who wait, and that this hasn't been more true for anything than it has been for videogames.
I've always been a big fan of this series and my excitement for this iteration just went through the roof! This and the previously released gameplay footage all look like it has great potential to be a killer title. If they've acquired Nolan North, their putting some budget behind this title — something others haven't had the privileged of doing. Really excited to get my hands on this one!
@LittleBigVita Spec Ops is a third person shooter. This one is no different.
@Slapshot Let's not forget that Nolan North also voiced the protagonist of Dark Void — and look how that turned out.
I've got to agree though, this was a damn good trailer.
@get2sammyb I actually thought Dark Void was really creative and lots of fun. It's not for everyone, but I really enjoyed it.
