Just when you thought Sony’s post-apocalyptic animal adventure Tokyo Jungle couldn’t possibly get any crazier, the platform holder has announced that you can now play as the Peking Man.

Humanity’s oldest ancestor is available to download for just ¥200. Stump up the cash and the playable character will be added to Tokyo Jungle’s “rare animals” category, which already includes a Saber-toothed tiger and a robotic dog.

We really don't need to say anything else, do we?
