Japan Studio’s utterly baffling PSN adventure Tokyo Jungle will hit the European PlayStation Store on 26th September, publisher Sony has revealed. The mid-week release date suggests that the title will launch as a digital exclusive, unlike Japan where it was also available at retail. That should probably come as a surprise to no one.
The game sees you take control of a variety of animals in a post-apocalyptic setting, as you seek to find the reason behind mankind’s disappearance. The graphics look terrible and the gameplay seems dated, but you should probably snap this up on the basis that Japanese oddities are becoming a rarity these days.
Tokyo Jungle posted incredibly impressive sales in Japan, so let’s hope it meets the same success overseas.
Update: The game's releasing in North America on 25th September.

As for the game...that trailer was not enough to sell me on it (not that it's been announced for American release in the first place). Looks weird, but I really don't understand the gameplay. I fail to see why people are so often so HORRIBLE at getting the core of the gameplay across in marketing. It's kind of important, y'know.
@Stuffgamer1 Pretty sure the game is coming to USA.
need a physical copy...
Yes, yes, yes!
A physical copy would be rather lovely though.
@Stuffgamer1 You control one group of animals and battle to survive by fighting for resources.....how exactly is that not clear?
Dude it has been announced for a U.S. release.
I want this game. They had an in depth look at it on last week's Imagine-Nation, and it sold me on the game.
Is it coming to the U.S.?
