Legendary game designer Keiichiro Toyama has teased that there may be a sequel to Gravity Rush on the cards. The title won a game of the year award at the Tokyo Game Show earlier today, and after being congratulated by fans on Twitter, the Silent Hill creator declared: “Thank you! I’ll do my best on the sequel.”
The luminary was instantly assaulted by a cavalcade of questions asking if there really was a follow up in development. “It’s a secret,” he teased.
Gravity Rush has been one of the more successful Vita titles, so we’d be surprised if a sequel wasn’t planned. For our money, Kat has already established herself as the next great PlayStation protagonist – and we’re eager to see whether she’ll show up in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

Not so surprising but still excellent news.
@Gamer83 Absolutely. I imagine now they've nailed the mechanics, they can spend a little more time refining the missions/combat encounters (which was the original game's weakest point).
Really looking forward to this. Kat's an incredible character.
One of the sickest games of the year! I really hope we get a sequel!

Yup, I'm very much looking forward to what they can do now that they become familiar with the hardware. Definitely can't wait to see how the story will play out as well. More Kat and friends is a good thing for sure.
o3o Oh cool
I can hardly wait to play Gravity Rush 2! I haven't even played the first one yet! I'd like to see a Gravity Rush on PS3 pulling out some big stops, and having sixaxis support and Move support.
