If you’ve played any of the previous Yakuza games, then you’ll know how hard it is to resist the lure of the local Club SEGA arcade. Who cares if Haruka's captured and there’s a rival gang stepping on the Tojo Clan’s toes? There’s always time for a session on Boxcelios.
This video of Yakuza 5’s recently released Japanese demo demonstrates just how difficult it is to avoid the temptation of mini-games, as it spends most of its running time showing off Virtua Fighter II and Taiko Drum Master as opposed to, y’know, the actual game. Don't worry, though, because we’ll have more on the demo in the coming days.

So, so good. This is easily my favourite PlayStation franchise — I hope it gets localised.
