It looks like Sony’s separating out Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception’s multiplayer component and putting it on the PlayStation Store. Similarly to Killzone 3, the company has revealed that Naughty Dog’s surprisingly compelling online experience is launching as a standalone later this week – and apparently it will be available for free. The move makes sense, considering all of the microtransaction features that have been added to the shooter recently.
The information was accidentally included in a PlayStation Blog post, but was hastily pulled. VG247 caught wind of the slip up, which is also referred to by a number of users in the aforementioned article itself. We suspect that a more firm announcement will be made later today. Makes sense ever since they added microtransactions, I'm surprised they actually did it though
