If you’re planning on spending some time with your PlayStation Vita this week, you may want to know that there’s a new firmware update available. Version 2.06 adds the grand sum of nothing to the portable platform, merely promising further “system software stability”. We’d expect the handheld to be firmer than a posh mattress at this point.
The update is mandatory, so you’ll have to download and install it before you can sign into the PlayStation Network. If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, remember that you can set the system to automatically update overnight, reducing the risk of inevitable Twitter outbursts. Do us all a favour and sign up to the subscription service, yeah?
