As has become customary for the PlayStation Vita, Sony’s issued a brand new firmware update that presumably fixes a handful of bugs from last week’s gigantic v2.10 update. The non-mandatory download – dubbed v2.11 for those keeping tabs – is available now, and supposedly “improves system stability and the playback of some titles”.
Last week’s major system overhaul finally added folders, as well as a slew of other minor enhancements which you can read about through here. Feel free to shout and scream about the frequency of firmware updates in the comments section below.

I've never had a Vita update that left me as annoyed as some of the PS3 ones, not even close.
@KALofKRYPTON It definitely downloads a lot quicker.
It's kind of laughable how often there's updates with the Vita but it really is a quick, simple process, MUCH better than some of what goes on on the console front.
The nice part is most of the time the update isn't even mandatory. PS3, and 360 for that matter, seem to have forced updates regularly.
@Gamer83 Far more exploits at work on PS3 and 360 though.
I'm not too bothered with updates at all to be honest. There's only been a couple of occassions where it's buggered up a planned online session when I wasn't expecting an update, but there's always another console, or phone, or book.

All good points. I'll admit I am a bit impatient sometimes but when I get a new game I just want to fire up the system and play.
I didn't even have to wait cause mine was asleep and auto updated. Boom.
