E3 2013: The Crew Crashes onto PS4 Next Year

As previously rumoured, The Crew will race onto the PlayStation 4 next year. The title – in development at Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections – promises to change the “status quo” of driving games by offering a persistent open world representation of the United States, which you’ll attempt to control by snatching gang territory.

The game will also feature a strong emphasis on customisation, as demonstrated in the trailer embedded below. You’ll be able to strip down your car and personalise it piece-by-piece with different components. As part of the title’s connected world, it will blur the lines between single player, co-op, and competitive multiplayer – meaning that you’ll never have to see a bothersome lobby screen ever again.
