Legendary Ratchet & Clank developer Insomniac Games has suffered an intolerable introduction to the world of multiplatform games, with its uninspiring third-person shooter Fuse entering the UK sales charts at a dreadful 37th. Ted Price, the head of the Burbank-based studio, recently noted that the company is planning more entries in the series. Will this make it change its mind?
Fortunately, it wasn’t all bad news, as Codemasters’ racer GRID 2 got off to a great start. The long awaited sequel accelerated straight to the summit, and was closely shadowed by FIFA 13, Dead Island: Riptide, and Far Cry 3. Elsewhere, last week’s frontrunner Resident Evil: Revelations dropped into fifth, while familiar favourites Assassin’s Creed III, Metro: Last Light, and Tomb Raider rounded out the list.

I hate the idea of a studio being restricted to one type of game, but I really wished Insomniac Games would put its best team on producing a top-tier Ratchet & Clank for PS4. Tie it into the movie, and I reckon it could be huge.
Was expecting this from Fuse after playing the demo it felt just like a generic 3PS with quick swap between characters and the Fuse weapons even though this one its supposed to have a Co-Op focus.
@Epic yes, it was a very very bland shooter. I also didn't like how dumb the AI was, seriously the cover mechanic was useless because the enemy would just full on bum rush you and get 6 inches from you within seconds of a confrontation.
@get2sammyb Not sure if this legit or not but...

@TheRealBatman Thanks, I've seen this pop up on multiple sites. I'm waiting for the company to make an official statement, because at the moment we're still piecing together the riddles from February.
@get2sammyb Leaving it up to publishers would ensure that Sony takes no blame, so hopefully, it is true.

I expected Fuse to struggle but not this badly.
