PlayStation Plus is set to get a little bit balder in North America, as Sony has announced that Hitman: Absolution will be whacking the Instant Game Collection this week. Agent 47’s latest adventure will be accompanied by discounts on escapeVektor, SuperFrog HD, and various Rayman titles. You’ll also be able to snatch weird lightgun game Wicked Monsters Blast HD for $1.
But this is the start of a brand new month, so there’s plenty more to look forward to over the coming days. In addition to IO Interactive’s stealth ‘em up, you’ll also be able to nab free copies of the brilliant BIT.TRIP Presents: Runner 2 – Future Legend of Rhythm Alien, Star Wars Pinball, Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower, and the PlayStation Vita version of Machinarium.
Of course, that’s all in addition to the usual array of savings, more of which will be announced later in the month. While we wait for additional details, though, it’s worth noting that Battlefield 3, Labyrinth Legends, Gods Eater Burst, Malicious, and Dokuro are all set to leave the Instant Game Collection soon, so make sure that you grab them while they’re hot.

I loved the first BIT.TRIP Runner and I'm looking forward to checking out the second.
I have been meaning to check out Hitman as well so I'm happy.
@Splat Yeah, it's a pretty awesome month!
Might finally get Rayman Origins while it's on sale.
What a treat! I played the [BT Runner] demo and enjoyed it (hopefully it gets more challenging) so that will be at the top of the list. I heard Hitman changed up a bit from its predecessors, thus I never got it. But now this changes things.
Runner 2!
BT and hitman are the only things im interested in, kind of a weak month compared to EU.....how does EU get this
Need for Speed: Most Wanted
Mafia 2
Spec Ops: The Line
Lego Lord of the Rings
When Vikings Attacks
that line up right there is an amazing month
Never got around to playing Hitman cause I didn't wanna pay for it. Plop! : ) and Star Wars pinball is fun, so, cool. And we already have Spec Ops dude
I haven't played Runner 2 yet, so that tops my list. Hitman is a close second. I'll probably have to do some item management to fit all this on the 160GB harddrive, rapidly running out of space thanks to the sales and free games from Plus. Not a bad thing though.
Also, for anybody who hasn't played it, Machinarium is great.
@Gamer83 - Yeah, I had to upgrade from 160 GB to 500 because of PS+. I hated deleting games.
@Splat
If I wasn't saving for PS4 I'd probably upgrade to 500GB but this late in the gen I'll just try and manage what games I really want to keep and which ones I don't care for too much. I hope 500GB will be enough for PS4 but with game installs and I'm sure with the continued great deals and free stuff from Plus, I'll have to upgrade at some point.
i cant wait for this
Not even one full vita game and they really need to stop with the PSP games.
Personally I'm a bit disappointed. We have pinball already (though not specifically star wars), we have Machinarium on PS3 (I get why you'd want it portable as well, but it just seems like such a waste of a slot right now). Hitman and Bit.Trip look interesting though. I also kinda agree with @evya35 how the psp games are getting redundant. From a business standpoint it makes sense I guess though, Sony needs to find games to put on Plus, but not everyone wants to give away their games. PSP games I can't imagine selling nearly as well as they used to, so companies might not find it too much a loss. I just wish we'd get PS1 classics instead of all the psp games :X Or at least good psp rpgs, we have enough fighting games >.<
Got Hitman with the EU ps plus a couple of months back, great game.
The update is live.
