And so it begins. Next month’s European PlayStation Plus update includes the very first batch of PlayStation 4 content, with Housemarque’s delicious shoot-‘em-up Resogun and Compulsion Games’ intriguing puzzle platformer Contrast available for free for subscribers. They’re just two of an enormous roster of new downloads, though, which also spans the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation Portable.
Over on Sony’s current generation console, you’ll be able to put a complimentary copy of Codemasters’ arcade racing game GRID 2 into gear. Elsewhere, you’ll be able to suplex cross-buy Mexican Metroidvania Guacamelee, master your karting skills in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed on the Vita, and plot a crime spree in former PSP favourite Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.
You’ll be able to download all of the titles from 27th November, apart from the PS4 games which will launch alongside the console itself on 29th November. Of course, the freebies are all in addition to the usual roster of exclusive offers and discounts, which will no doubt be detailed later in the month. What are you most looking forward to? Let us know in the comments section and poll below.

I traded Blackgate yesterday for Sonic... Premature.
On the plus side, the dlc code hasn't been used!
I almost picked up that Sonic racer at the weekend. Its a good job I held off Ive been enjoying the Vita Ps+ games lately, keeping me going till the good stuff from NISa comes next year
Does anyone know if, as a PS+ member that won't have a PS4 on launch day, can I "purchase" these games on the browser store to download when I get my PS4, or do I risk missing them?
I know you can do this with PS3 games of course but I wondered if purchasing PS4 games was blocked until you linked your PSN account to one.
Hey Sammy, will Resogun and Contrast be available for PS4 launch day for those of us in the states?
Still no explanation as to the lies we were told about PS4 not effecting PS+ on PS3/Vita. We lose a game while the American's don't, Sony don't bother telling anyone, the two yearly Vita games they were changing this month they're now not, we have a PSP game in the IGC despite being told that would never happen... Sony Europe once again reverting back to arseholes.
PS+ is exceptional value for money but Sony keep doing this they're going to push people away to Xbox One. Look at the amount of comments on the PS EU blog falling on dead ears as Sony have returned to not giving a damn about the consumer again. With the PS4 about to release they seem to have gone back to the arrogance they had around the PS3 release.
Worst update so far for me. Don't have a ps4 or can afford one any time soon, so it's hard to get hyped for the first two.
Don't care for psp games and GTA games especially.
Don't like racing games or Sonic.
I already bought and beat Guacamelee (awesome game).
So, again, nothing for me, though no complaints here. PS+ is amazing and I don't have enough time to play all the games I've received so far, so it's all good.
@rasramadeus
Wow, dude. Do you realize just how good ps+ is? You think it's easy or cheap to get all those games? Look at the games that MS managed to offer the past couple of months for Live. They're laughable at best.
Spoiled gamers are spoiled.
@PorllM You can, judging from Vita games. I think it's part of promotion. More games you have on Plus, more urge to buy new console =).
@MadchesterManc it's good, start on the hard modes and it's a good challenge all the way so far.
Had to get rid of Blackgate while it held some value though.
Cannot wait to download Resogun & i'll obviously be downloading Contrast also,
@PorllM
I'm a bit confused on this one i heard you could, but the EU PlayStation blog guys say you cannot.
@naruball Try reading what I said. They lied. If they said "Hey, PS4's coming so we're gonna have to cut down on the PS3/Vita stuff but we'll carry on bringing you everything we promised when you signed up for PS+" there would be no problem. But they haven't. They've lied, changed the rules whenever they wanted and not bothered telling us. I have a PS3 and Vita. I won't be getting a PS4 (if at all) for two years so why should what I've paid for be effected by something I'm not getting without any warning whatsoever? It's not a question of being spoilt (again this month I have or have had the games in PS+ and I'm not complaining about that, am I?), Sony lied.
@PorlIM We don't know yet. We've been told you can and you can't. Frankly if you can't then it is a massive own goal on Sony's part and offensive to people who pay for PS+ and (again) don't get what they're entitled to. Pattern emerging...
